Tuesday Ten: Home Décor

There's something about this time of year that I just want to redecorate. So here are seven items I'm loving and three I want to try!

  1. Glencoe Pink Area Rug. I got this rug for Christmas and I love it so much. It’s girly and fun, but I think it will also be able to work for a variety of seasons. There are lots of different colors mixed into the rug that I can pull from so the rug reads more summer or wintery.

  2. Faux Fiddle Leaf Tree. I also got this plant for Christmas. I cannot keep a plant alive to save my life. I even kill succulents. So I’m switching to fake ones. This one is great and I think it looks pretty real.

  3. Globes. Whether you have one globe or seven, I think they look great in any style room. They also are a great reminder to live a life of adventure.

  4. Velvet Hangers. While these aren’t necessarily a home décor item, they make your home more organized which in turn makes your home look nicer. I love the velvet ones; things stay on the hanger so much better and you can fit more into your closet.

  5. Pom Pom Curtains. When my sister and I were younger we look pour over the Pottery Barn Teen catalog and dream of how we wanted to redecorate our rooms. I had these exact curtains on my wishlist forever and last summer I found them on Facebook Marketplace!

  6. Books. Books are colorful and interesting. They are the best decorations because they are so useful and practical. Also, you can pick one up pretty much anywhere for like fifty cents.

  7. Agate Coasters. I have one of these coasters in the magenta color and LOVE IT. It adds some luxury to my everyday life. It’s so fancy.

  8. Essential Oil Diffuser. I have been wanting to make the switch to essential oils and I think 2020 will be the year that I do. This diffuser looks mythical and will smell amazing, so that’s a win for me.

  9. Feminist Print. I need this print. I love a gallery wall and I think this would make a great addition to the prints I already own.

  10. iRobot Roomba Vacuum. I hate vacuuming, and pretty much all chores in general, so if there’s a way that I can clean without actually having to clean, I’m in.

Let me know how you're decorating! xoxo, Kari
