Tuesday Ten: New Mom Gift Guide

Tuesday Ten: New Mom Gift Guide

Last week, one of my besties had a baby! Babies are so cute and buying them their little clothes is so fun! But, we can’t forget about the mamas. The mamas either worked and worked to push a baby out of them or they had major surgery to get that baby out! So, I think they deserve a little something.

Here are ten ideas for what to get a new mom!

  1. Pajamas. If I were a new mom, I would definitely be in my pajamas 24/7. I think the ones linked are a good option. They have buttons, so the mom could easily breastfeed if that’s what she’s choosing to do. They are also dark, so stains will be more easily hidden.

  2. Ice Roller. This ice roller is amazing. It feels great to depuff your face or roll it over swollen legs.

  3. Eye Mask. New moms, or moms in general, don’t seem to get a lot of sleep, these eye masks are great to depuff or soothe tired eyes.

  4. Massager. Carrying a baby around, sleeping in a recliner, living in general, makes a person sore. This massager is amazing. I want one for myself.

  5. Hair Brush. Sometimes a mom just needs a shower to feel like herself again. But she may not have time to get ready after the shower, this wet brush is a nice little luxury for right after the shower.

  6. Twisty Towel. The twisty towel is another luxury for after the shower. It’s much easier than tying a full size towel around your head.

  7. Baby Sleeping Sign. The worst thing is to wake a sleeping baby. The new mama can hang this sign, so hopefully any delivery people or visitors will not wake the baby!

  8. Slippers. Staying comfy is number one. These slippers are everything.

  9. Phone Charger. Lots of people want to keep in touch with a new mom and moms want to take a lot of pictures of their new babe, this means they’re on their phone a lot! This extra-long charger is great.

  10. Pillow Case. When a new mom finally gets to rest, make sure their rest is luxurious. This pillow case is soft, great for the skin and hair!

And, if your mama friend isn’t local, or doesn’t want a bunch of visitors because of the coronavirus, make sure you send your care package via the United States Postal Service and support them!
