This Week I…

Watched- Divorce on Hulu and the first two Democratic Debates on NBC. I watched the first season of Divorce when it first came out on DVD. This week I watched the second season on Hulu. It’s super funny. It is about divorce, which I cannot relate to, but it’s also just about family relationships. Sarah Jessica Parker is the main character in it. I just cannot get enough of her. This week I also watched the majority of the first two democratic debates. First off, it’s a little ridiculous that there are twenty candidates, but then it’s also pretty great at the same time. It’s great that so many people are ready to make a huge change to our political system. Going in to these debates I knew who I liked, but after them my opinion has changed. I love this. That is exactly the point of debates. I love politics and polite discord, which I hope continues throughout the 2020 Presidential Race.

Read- Yes, My Accent is Real by Kunal Nayyar. I’m actually listening to it on audiobook. I checked out the book a while ago from the library but never got around to reading it before I had to return it. Then, this week I saw the audiobook at the library. Kunal Nayyar reads the book himself, so being hear his voice and his accent just makes everything better.

Listened to- another episode of Asking for a Friend, the Lauren Conrad podcast. This week she had two guests. The two guests ran her social media and talked about how that worked. They also talked about how to grow your online presence. I think I learned a lot from it.

Celebrated- one year of having my Instagram public. I have grown a lot in this past year and I hope to continue growing, maybe at a faster rate…

Visited- our local zoo. My nieces slept over early in the week, then the next day we went to the zoo. I hadn’t been to our zoo in quite some time. We had tons of fun. We got tickets to the bird feeding. So, we got to feed some birds right out of our hands. One of my nieces also got really brave and held the cockroach. The zookeeper even let her name it. She chose “Cynthia.”

Ate- ice cream. That’s the best way to beat the heat! And it was hooooot this week.

Wore- Red White and Blue! It’s the last week before Fourth of July, it’s the time to break out all the patriotism.
