This Week I…
Watched- Jumanji: The Next Level in theaters, John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch, and Victorious on Netflix. I really like the original Jumanji (the one with Robin Williams), so these remakes would have had to be fantastic for me to love them as much. I don't think either of the remakes have been super great, but I watched them because all my family was going. You do what you gotta to spend time with the people you love! I have been loving comedy specials recently, so this week I watched John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch. It was pretty funny. A couple of the kids in the "Sack Lunch Bunch" were more annoying that funny, but overall I enjoyed it. The ending with the surprise guest was the best part, in my opinion. Also this week, my nieces sleptover. Normally when they sleep over we watch a few episodes of Nailed It on Netflix, but now we have seen very episode a few times, so we were ready for a new show. We decided to watch Victorious. My nieces and I both really enjoyed it. It's silly and light hearted and has catchy music. I will honestly probably watch it even without them.

Read- Red, White, and Royal by Casey McQuiston and Two by Two by Nicholas Sparks. Red, White, and Royal Blue is a truly modern love story. There is a female president and two boys in love. It's a quick read but oh so entertaining. It reminds me a little of The Princess Diaries books. This week I continued listening to Two by Two by Nicholas Sparks on audiobook. I have never read a Nicholas Sparks book that I did not like and this one is no different in that regard. But the storyline in this one is different and the book is longer. Their are love interests and attractions in the book but the main love story is about a father and daughter. They are building their relationship on loving memories and it's so sweet.

Listened to- Sophia Bush’s podcast “Work in Progress” and the Glamour Magazine Podcast “What I Wore When” hosted by Perrie Samotin. I absolutely love both of these podcasts. There has not been one episode of Work in Progress from which I did not learn something. The guests are varied and interesting. The episodes are long, so it takes me a little while to get through the two weekly episodes, but it's worth it. What I Wore When is a newer podcast.; on it a celebrity comes in and talks about a big event in their life and what they wore to that event. Then the host and guest talk about their career now and how fashion relates to it. I think it's so interesting. Fashion and style are a part of everyone's lives and the way you present yourself matters.
Celebrated- New Year’s and finally being accepted as an influencer on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app! I don't like to go out or party really, so New Year's is not a big holiday for me. This year I actually worked overnight at the nursing home, no partying there! What was a big celebration this week was that I finally got accepted on LIKEtoKNOW.it! This is an app where others can instantly shop my looks. I used this app to shop other's looks before and am so excited I'm now on the other end of it! Follow me there: https://www.liketoknow.it/k.a.r.i_l.a.n.e
Visited- Prompt Care. I had the worst cough for like a month and was finally ready to get rid of it. Now I'm on the up and up.
Ate- leftover Christmas candy. Why do Reese’s shaped like other shapes just taste better?
Wore- sweatpants and leggings. Between being sick, it being that weird time between Christmas and New Year's, and eating all the Reese's; sweats were the best thing to wear this week!
