This week I am writing about two weeks. I skipped one week and that really made me realize how much I love blogging. I want to do more and am interested to learn what else my readers would like to see. Comment below! But without further ado,
These Weeks I…
Watched- Toy Story 4, finally! I also watched Someone Great on Netflix. I absolutely loved Toy Story 4. I was not expecting it to end how it did. No spoilers, but wow! Also, I loved the new characters. Duke Caboom was my favorite. This week I also watched Someone Great. I love Gina Rodriguez and had heard great things about the movie, but I wasn’t super impressed with it. It was ok, just not my favorite.
Read- One Summer Night by Caridad Pineiro and listened to Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She’s ‘Learned’ by Lena Dunham. One Summer Night is a romance novel that I checked out from the library forever ago, read five pages of, and then promptly stopped reading for who knows what reason. But I got back to it this week and read the whole book in one night. This week I have also been listening to Lena Dunham’s memoir on audiobook. I do not like it. I am just about done with it and I do not care for it, at all. It has been on my ‘to be read’ list forever, so I wanted to finish it, but man, barf. There are so many subjects in the book that should come with trigger warnings, and she warns no one. I think she needs a whole lot of help. She does not seem like a stable human.
Listened to- The Lady Gang podcast. They are currently on tour and had two stops in Chicago. By the time I heard about the shows, they were already sold out. I was super bummed. So please, Lady Gang, come back to my area!!
Celebrated- Fourth of July and my niece’s seventh birthday! I can’t believe she’s seven. I love her so much.

Visited- the park for a free Fourth of July show. My family and I have been going to Celebrate America for as long as they have had the production in the park. It’s cheesy and fun. Our state representative, Dan Brady, always pops up and sings Yankee Doodle Dandy. It’s a great time had by all.
Ate- Krispy Kreme doughnuts and kettle corn, all the best patriotic junk foods!
Wore- red, white, and blue clothing that then transitioned into rainbows. I didn’t wear a lot of rainbows during Pride Month, but that’s ok, because every month should be pride month.
