This Week I...

Watched- season three and four of the Fosters on Netflix. I thought this show dealt with every issue imaginable, and it does. It deals with ones I didn't even consider, then they show up on the show and I'm like yesssss, let's talk about this some more. I'm so proud of this show. I'm so proud of Jennifer Lopez for being an executive producer on this show. Every season ends with a pretty big cliff hanger, and that was true for season 4. Luckily for me though, I don't have to wait months and months to watch it. THANK YOU NETFLIX.

Read- My Squirrel Days by Ellie Kemper. I'm finally almost done. I like reading a lot, I'm not sure why I have been in this slump, but hopefully I can break it and get back to track for my reading goal for the year.

Listened to- The Lady Gang podcast with guest Brad Goreski. I love watching the Lady Gang on E! and I didn't realize it started as a podcast. The show and podcast have the same format, but the podcast is lengthier. For my first podcast, I chose the one with guest Brad Goreski because I loved him from when I first saw him on the Rachel Zoe Project on Bravo, all those years ago. This episode did not disappoint.

Celebrated- finishing my first 5k of the year! My niece, best friend, and her two boys ran/walked/baby carried/piggy back rode through the Bubble Run 5k in Joliet this week. I think all 5ks are fun, but this one is especially because it's like running through a giant bubble bath that also tie dyes your shirt.

Visited- Chicago and Wrigley Field. This week, my sister and I took the train to Chicago for a Cubs/Reds game. The Cubs did unfortunately lose (to the worst team in the league) but it was still fun. It's always a good time at Wrigley. After the game, we went to Anthropologie, my home away from home. Then we took the L back to Union Station and I am happy to report I did not get us lost once!

Ate- Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I saw they had strawberry and pineapple shaped/flavored doughnuts, so I wanted to give them a try. I ended up sharing them and didn't actually try the new flavors, but that's ok, I'm good with classic glazed.

Wore- a LuLaRoe "Maria" dress that I "hacked". I cut slits in the sides of it and tied the front, so it was more of the look I was going for. After I cut and tied it, it looked like what all the girls on Pinterest are wearing. So, goal achieved.
