This Week I...
Watched- season one of The Fosters on Netflix. I started watching this show years back on what was ABCFamily (now FreeForm), somehow I lost track of the show but am so glad I found it again on Netflix. The show is about a family who fosters and hopefully, eventually adopts children. There are two moms and five teenage kids. The show hits on so many issues and it’s only season one. I’m so excited to continue this series, then move on to it’s spinoff series, Good Trouble.
Read- nothing. It was a loooooong week, so with any extra time, I slept.
Listened to- some old Adele hits. In ways pertaining to her divorce, I am sad for her, but in ways pertaining to a potential new album, I. AM. PUMPED.
Celebrated- my friend Izzy graduating from nursing school! I am so incredibly proud of her. She has accomplished so much, but doesn’t like to boast about herself, so I will! She’s amazing. She graduated with the highest honors. You could barely see her graduation gown because of all the ropes she was awarded. She is the smartest, most thoughtful, most beautiful, and all around best person.
Visited- a local restaurant for their Mother’s Day Buffet. I love my mama so much. She puts up with all my shiz and takes 98% of my photos, even though she hates it. She passed on her love of reading and her love of tv game shows to me. She treats all of my friends and acquaintances like they are her own children. She’s as strong as can be. I hope I can be a mom like her someday.
Ate- all the junk food. It’s a weakness of mine, especially during long weeks like this one.
Wore- sandals! All day errday. My feet were really swollen from standing so much and I desperately need a pedicure, but I was determined to wear sandals because I was like spring, is that actually you?
