This Week I…
Watched- Greta and Five Feet Apart in theaters. Greta is not a movie that I would typically watch in the theater, but the trailers really drew me in. It was so good and terrifying. I bought popcorn and hardly ate any of it because I was so stressed, I couldn’t eat. The movie was definitely a horror/thriller film, but the underlying themes were friendship and loneliness. The movie was actually pretty thought provoking. I will write more on this later! It deserves a whole blog post to itself. This week I also watched Five Feet Apart. I liked it too. I missed the first couple minutes of it, which I HATE, but I don’t think I missed anything major. I liked the movie and there were a couple twists in it, but nothing super unexpected. It was basically what I expected it to be.
Read- my to do list. Last Sunday, I made a list and a plan. I referred to it multiple times in the week was able to accomplish the majority of the things on the list. Normally I just have a mental list of things to do. I think writing everything out and planning what I wanted to get done each day really helped me. It’s also super satisfying to physically cross off something when it’s done.
Listened to- ducks and geese squabbling. This week it was finally nice enough for me to have lunch at and walk around the lake at the park. When I was there, there were multiple ducks and geese chasing after each other and yelling at each other and trying to scare each other off. I sat there and watched them for a gooooooood while. I love Spring! I’m happy it’s finally, kind of, almost here!

Celebrated- St. Patrick’s Day! Our town had a Sharing of the Green Parade on Saturday, my sister and I took two of her kids to it.
Visited- a new coffee shop, Eli’s. I ordered their ‘Donation Creation’ drink. Each month they create a signature drink and one dollar from each purchase of that drink goes to a local charity. This month their creation is a Samoa Mocha; salted caramel, dark chocolate, coconut, and topped with a Samoa cookie; YUM! One dollar from each drink goes towards the Girl Scouts. It was a win win win situation!
Ate- lucky charm donuts. A fresh cake donut with vanilla frosting (dyed green) and lucky charm cereal on top. I also had a Shamrock Shake, because how could you not? SOOOO to sum it up, this week I ate ALL. THE. SWEETS.

Wore- green! Green on green on green on green. I love a theme.
