This Week I...

Watched- the Cubs. The Chicago Cubs are my favorite baseball team and this week they sort of kicked it into gear finally and started winning. I did not go the movie theater or watch any Netflix this week. I am just as shocked as you are.

Read- Hidden Figures and My Squirrel Days. This week I FINALLY finished Hidden Figures on audio book and continued reading My Squirrel Days by Ellie Kemper. I will probably finish Ellie Kemper’s memoir this week.

Listened to- Old Town Road by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus. The song is so dumb but catchy. I love it. I watched the Adults React Video about it too. I love the React Channel.

Celebrated- my sister’s nuptials. My sister got married on Thursday and had her reception on Saturday. So it was a week of craziness, love, food, family, friends, dancing, happy tears, and fun.

Visited- every single clothing store in town and any town within an hour from my home. I had quite the struggle with my bridesmaid dress. I ordered this beautiful jumpsuit a while ago that was going to be my maid of honor “dress” but then it didn’t fit. So I ordered a completely different one from amazon. It was supposed to be here the Friday before the wedding. Then it didn’t come. I got an email saying it was going to be here the day before the wedding. So I was super nervous about that. I didn’t know if it would fit or if I would like it or if it would even come. So I went to every store ever; both super high end and resale. I found nothing. I ended up buying a dress from someone I used to work with. But the it turned out to be kind of see through, so I wore another dress under the see through one and wore a kimono over it, because the one from amazon still has not arrived at my house!

Ate- steak, and chicken, and cake, and cupcakes. I love wedding food and I’ll probably continue to eat it because #leftovers
